E.F. Winters


E.F. Winters began touring as a storyteller and teacher working, with Gifted and At Risk Youth in the arts in the 1980’s, partnering with school districts and parks and recreation organizations in the Pacific Northwest.  After moving to Las Vegas in the mid-1990s, she continued this work with Clark County Parks and Community Services, Nevada School of the Arts, The International Dance Education Academy, Peak Performance, WestCare of Nevada and her own company, Outperforming. Her theatrical and literary credits, acquired in over 40 years include acting, directing, writing, designing and producing and hosting shows for stage and television. Ms. Winters has taught performing arts, movement, musical theater, meditation and yoga as well as environmental programs for youth and adults on both the East and West Coasts.


E. F. Winters' writing credits range from newspapers, magazine articles, produced plays to commercials, a short film and two published novels. Her work as a professional storyteller, writer and director reflect the need for people to connect, no matter what their backgrounds. She has recently been recognized as a "Woman of Distinction" in Southern Nevada. She has studied screenwriting at NW Film Studies Center in Portland, Oregon, as well as Film Industries Workshop and with John Myhers, famed script doctor, writer and actor in the Los Angeles area.


E.F. Winters was honored as the first place in catagory winner for MEMELOOSE at the 2014 Somerset Awards.
